The saga of the Berlinetta 250 began with this model: a small number were built with racing features, a Berlinetta body by Pinin Farina or a Spider body by Vignale; this was one of the most interesting models.
Competition model that race very successfully in the hands of private entrants while the factory was concentrating on more powerful models. It is one of the most valuable and rare cars.
